The morning of MJ's death - the Michael Jackson fan page officially surpassed Barack Obama, to become the most popular page on Facebook. Over the past week, Michael Jackson’s page had grown from 80,000 fans to over 6.4 million, generating the largest response on a Facebook page ever. The page had continued to grow at a rate of around 20 fans per second and even quicker during peak traffic hours.
